Happy Administrative Professionals Day! Today we’re going to focus on two outstanding Taher team members, Maddy and Judy. Both of them have amazing stories to tell and how they got started on their journey and how they’ve grown since they’ve joined the Taher team.
Maddy – Human Resources Office Assistant
What does a normal day look like for you?
Mainly I’m filing papers, helping with postal collection, new hire entry, unemployment verifications, generally making office organization better.
What do you like about Taher?
It plays into my major! I’m majoring in Food Systems so it’s good to get exposed to how a quality food management service company works. It’s also really flexible with my schedule since I’m still in college. Everyone is really friendly and there’s a real sense of family.
There’s also huge room for growth here and room for advancement.
How would you describe the corporate culture of Taher?
Very hardworking, always getting stuff done. That and there’s always someone willing to help. Everyone is really close.
Judy – Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist
How did you get started with Taher?
Well, I’ve worked for a couple of different food service companies and when Taher acquired a contract, they asked if I would stay on. I said, “You betcha!” I’ve been with Taher for 19 years and I’ve loved every minute. I’ve done everything here, I’ve been a school lunch lady, receptionist, and the best part is I’ve worked with the same people for that amount of time.
What do you like about working for Taher?
I really enjoy the family atmosphere. I’ve worked with many of the same people over the years so it feels like we are! Bruce and his sons have been wonderful and really make it feel that way.
What do you think of the corporate culture here?
We’re a big family! Everyone is hardworking and managers go out of their way to make sure people are happy. Jayme and Mark have been wonderful!
