It has been proven that students need good nutrition to feed their minds and bodies, which enables them to learn while in school. Our goal is to provide high quality, safe, and healthy meals to every Kohler student while providing the best customer service possible.

Payments

Skyward is the computerized prepayment system for school meals at Kohler. Student ID cards are also lunch cards so every student has a Skyward account. The student account is only activated when a payment is made. Money must be in the account in order to purchase lunch or a la carte.

The Kohler School District is pleased to introduce a new program called e-funds for Schools.  This program offers various options for parents/guardians who choose to make payments on-line and is extremely user friendly.  Not only will you have the ability to have various school fees and lunch payments electronically withdrawn from your checking account or charged to your credit card, you also have the flexibility to make the payment at any time through the schools website.  The e-funds for Schools service is offered to you by a third party service provider and they charge for processing your payments, similar to other on-line banking services.  The district does not request or keep records of family checking or credit card information.

There is a $1.00 transaction convenience fee for each electronic checking payment that you make. The system carries a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) charge if the payment is "bad".  For payments made by credit or debit card, there is a transaction convenience fee of $2.49.  When you set up your account, please review your options carefully.

 

* First, click on the Check Account Balance button, to find your students ID in Family Access.

 

* Then click on the Make a Payment Online button to access e-funds for Schools.

 

* Families set up and maintain their own logins, passwords and payment preferences.  Your account information is retained in a password-protected file.

 

* Parents/guardians may establish a reoccurring payment or may opt out to make a one-time payment.

Milk Only  $.40

EMail reminders reporting low student account balances will be sent home when the balance reaches $5.00 or less. Students who do not have money in their account cannot purchase a lunch or ala carte items. Second lunches for all students are $2.00. A la carte snack items are not included with lunch and students who purchase them on account are charged full price regardless of whether they receive free or reduced price meals. Parents should discuss purchasing guidelines with their children in advance to prevent unwelcome charges to their account.

Payments are accepted by check or online by clicking the "Make a Payment Online" button above. Payments by check or cash will only be accepted with a prepayment deposit form. These are available by the drop box near the field house. Any money remaining at the end of the school year will be transferred with the student to the next grade.
