Taher Inc., who manages your Food Service
Program, has announced that the company has begun converting to
trans-fat-free products. The first phase which began in January,
eliminated trans fats from frying oil and purchased potato
products. As more manufacturers begin offering zero trans fat
alternatives, we will continue to make the switch to healthier
ingredients. We will also be adjusting recipes and replacing
processed items with more scratch cooking, to meet our goal of
eliminating all trans fats by the fall of 2008.
Eliminating trans fats is only the first step in an ongoing
commitment we have made to help our customers establish and maintain
