Payments

Infinite Campus is the computerized prepayment system for school meals in our district. Students use a pin number to access their account in the lunch line. Each child in your family has their own account, and when making payments you need to indicate the amounts that should go into each. Infinite Campus is declining balance system, similar to a checking account. Money must be in the account in order to purchase lunch, extra milk or a la carte items. There is no maximum amount that you can pre-pay, and we still have the on line options that make it easy for you to keep track of your student account and make payments.

Online Payments  Electronic payments can be made directly from your Savings or Checking Account,  into your student's account via a secure web site.  Click Here for step by step instructions on how to set up Online Payments.

Payment Procedures  Payments may be mailed or dropped off at the school lunch office: Food Service Dept. 101 School Drive, Waunakee WI 53597. Checks should be paid to the order of Waunakee Community School District.   Please write your student's first and last name on your check to ensure that it will be deposited in the correct account.

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to maintain a positive balance in the student's account. Please be reminded that students with a zero or negative balance will no longer be able to receive a meal.  Your child will be offered a milk and a sandwich.  Each day that the balance is lower than $10.00 per student, the students in the family who are entering their number, will be reminded by the food service clerk that the account is low. The student is also asked to look at the screen when entering their number so they can see the charges made and are able to check the balance. It is difficult for food service staff to deny a meal to a student, but this system is a pre-paid meal service.

Students who receive free or reduced price meals have the same lunch options as students who pay full price, however A la Carte snack items are not included with lunch.  All students who purchase a la carte items on account are charged full price, regardless of whether they receive free or reduced price meals. Parents should discuss purchasing guidelines with their children in advance to prevent unwelcome charges to their account.
