At Taher, Inc., we are proud to partner with you to provide nutritious food that satisfies and nourishes our clients and customers. While our highest priority is always to feed our guests safely, in response to COVID-19, our teams have taken extra steps to make sure our employees and guests are safe during this extraordinary time. We’ve learned these extra measures are worth keeping in place, so our employees and guests know they are safe in our dining locations. As the nation re-opens, we remain focused on our mission — finding ways to provide food service solutions that match your needs.


WE UPHOLD THE HIGHEST STANDARDS IN FOOD SERVICE

We take pride in the food we prepare and service we deliver. Our teams adhere to strict safety and quality standards to ensure our guests receive the highest quality meals and dining experiences. All locations operate under a U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system, by which we identify food safety risks and preventative measures. Our safety practices and procedures include sanitization, monitoring food handling practices, and employee wellness checks to prevent employees from working when sick.

Some of the extra safety measures we’ve expanded on include:

FREQUENT CLEANING AND SANITATION

  • Increasing the frequency of sanitation schedules to provide additional regular cleaning and deep cleaning
  • Making hand sanitizer available at all locations
  • Providing employees with proper personal protection equipment

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Setting up our locations to adhere to social distancing guidelines as applicable
  • Limiting visitors and guests at all locations
  • Strict vendor protocols including social distancing and illness screening upon arrival

EMPLOYEE TRAINING AND WELLNESS MONITORING

  • Training our teams on the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe COVID-19 Standards
  • Providing additional training both on-demand and in-person conducted by certified instructors
  • Conducting daily wellness checks by screening employees to make sure they are healthy to work and free of illness symptoms
  • Providing on-site posters and materials recommended by our Safety Committee to reinforce best practices and prevent injuries

CLIENT SERVICE

  • Working with you to ensure we are meeting your business or school’s needs for food service and environmental safety
  • Working jointly to enforce both your protocols and Taher’s protocols for service and sanitation to meet or exceed the CDC’s guidelines
