“The Brazilian Cattle Roast at NW schools in Portsmouth, Ohio was a great time. The kids loved it!!! Check out the lines and all the smiles!!! There were plenty of students helping out with this project. The middle school FFA grew the lettuce for our tossed salad, the Cattle was donated by a local rancher only 5 miles from the school. Farm to table at its very best!!! Thank you to all of the volunteers for being part of such a great event. Can’t wait until next year and we can all do it again. We included mesquite chicken, Iron Skillet cornbread, fresh fruit and vegetable bar, three kinds of potatoes with Aji Amarillo sauce and Chimichurri and roasted corn. Made the volunteers my fresh baked Texas Buttermilk pie as a thank you.”
